Hunter Pet Tallstrider - FREE Avatar

Ah, the tallstrider. My favorite hunter pet of all time. Why, you ask? I dunno. XD I just love it's screech, and how it runs after enemies. Nothing funnier than watching a giant bird run down a rogue human. I first fell in love with them on my very first hunter, Shamusqarn, who was on Burning Legion. I was originally going to tame one of the regular tallstriders, but as I leveled, I saw the Elder Plainstriders with their white plumeage, and thought, "that's the one for me." I named him Talcum, as his white plumage reminded me of the chalky mineral (I'm a mineral freak, get off me ) I had tried all other pets after that, and none of them did it for me. Back in Vanilla WoW, Tallstrider was the easiest pet for me to use. I was so upset when they simplified everything into 3 families, because it wasn't the same. But now I won't complain as much, because I can respec him when I want. I restarted this hunter as Qarn on Moon Guard (Shamusqarn has been deleted), and retamed my Talc buddy. I keep trying to use other pets with that character, and I just can't. XD Which is sad, because I love sooooo many beasts, and now I have a place to put them all. On a side note, why did they put that exotic purple strider as the tauren starting pet? :/ It would've made more sense to have the grey/blue/red ones. I know where to get a purple strider, even though I have to be at least 70. Taurens and Night Elves are the only ones who start out with exotic pets that can only be gotten at high levels. X3
